No doubt; Cricket is a booming business in India and this is the reason that companies are ready to spend billions for sponsorship rights etc..

However seeing the dismal performance of our cricket team in the overseas tours, it appears that they won world Cup just as a matter of fluke or was it mere Mahender Singh Dhoni which got them the world cup. The adjacent picture amply states the Cricket affairs in India. We are definitely dejected seeing their performance as we are neither doing well in Hockey nor in Cricket.
