Do not disturb registry has become a joke as one still keep on getting sms and calls from unsolicited numbers advertising their products. We as service providers of stock market tips keep getting calls from companies who are selling their services to us despite our mobile numbers being DND numbers.
Now Android has 2 apps which has made the task simple as it auto sends the message on your behalf to telecom authorities for blocking the number and thereafter you will not receive the message from them. Else manual action of sending sms to TRAI is at least a 2 min process and this below app from DND Manager does the task in a second itself.
Another similar app which can be checked for the same purpose is “India against Spam”, app. One can try it and leave the feedback.
