It is a good offer from HSBC where one can get a controlled rate of interest for new home loan or one can transfer the existing home loan. Offer is valid till 31 December 2012.
The rate slabs are as given below:

| Home loan above 25 lakh and up to 75 lakh | 9.99% p.a. |
| Home loan above 75 lakh and up to 100 lakh | 10.25% p.a. |
The documents required are as following:
- Loan application form
- Repayment track of 12 months and 18 months from salaried and self-employed individuals respectively
- Documents from financial institution stating current loan outstanding, current/residual tenure, loan account open date and confirmation that it is a home loan and not a Loan Against Property (LAP)
However it is strange that offer is available only for select cities to include Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Jaipur, Mumbai, Pune and Hyderabad.
