Our compliments to the govt for reducing the stamp duty from 6% to 5%, however registration charges of 1% remains, This translates into a savings of Rs 40,000 on property purchase of Rs 40 Lakhs.
Moreover this reduction will help people to go for registration and will avoid going for power of attorney which can be a case of dispute at a later stage. It also shows that state govt is in good financial health. Kudos !!!
