Reddit has joined in the battle against the US legislation SOPA/PIPA and the Wikipedia Blackout speaks for itself as they say being silent at times also shows that you are powerful.
Do not worry Reddit site will be back and functioning normally at 8 PM EST (0100 UTC). Their site reads that though their protest is temporary in nature, PROTECT IP and SOPA are not. They have exhorted one and all to to pay attention and join the conversation in /r/SOPA when reddit returns. Check out SOPA/PIPA FAQ here.
