Nifty appears to be in sideways mode with a positive bias and is likely to move with in a band of 4750-5250. Thus one should just trade on intraday basis as we have stock specific opportunities occurring every day and probability of hitting the bulls eye increases 100% with sure stock and one can make daily money at NSE or BSE. No doubt intraday trading which is the mantra to make money in volatile market. Analysis of futures and options data also confirms the bullishness as put writing at strike price of 4900 and call writing at 5100-5200 is occurring which means that 4900 is likely to be a good support and 5200 will be a stiff resistance. Our chart analysis suggests that stiff resistance will occur at 5212.
It was a positive day at the fag end as market ended on a firm note following recovery in the European markets and buying in index heavyweights - Reliance Industries and TCS, ahead of second quarter results. No doubt the results on Saturday have shown that they have beaten street expectations and one way to know the performance of the company ahead of its results is to study the advance tax payment. The market breadth was positive as 1,425 stocks advanced, for 1,330 declining shares on the BSE.
