Well to be honest the technical's are suggesting that market is looking weak and thus any upsurge should be used to exit out of the market. However fresh longs should be only initiated when Nifty sustains above the level of 5250.  Market is struggling to move  upside. and thus one can safely say that some room is still there for the downside with a technical perspective.

The Indian market finished on  a flat note Thursday. A good point was that  Stanchart, Goldman Sachs, Nomura and Morgan Stanley have revised upwards India's FY10 GDP forecasts and it led to sentiments becoming bullish. Selling was witnessed near the resistance zone and thus we can not fool the technicals and same was stated with authority yesterday. Negative factors like food inflation also triggered concerns that the central bank may tighten its monetary policy soon. As a net result of this bulls and bears battle BSE Sensex closed at 17,186, up 16 points or 0.09% and the S&P CNX Nifty rose by 8 points or 0.16% to 5,132.
