1. In a populist move Finance minister has completely waived of all loans to small and marginal farmers holding 1-2 hectare of land and the impact of this waiver is to the tune of Rs 50,000 crore.
2. This waiver is going to affect all the PSU banks primarily dena Bank, SBI, PNB and OBC as waiver amounts to 4% of total bank loans.
