What Drove The Quarterly Performance?
LTTS delivered a stronger-than-expected first-quarter performance, with revenue and operating margins exceeding market expectations. Revenue increased approximately 1.5% quarter-on-quarter in constant currency terms, led primarily by the Sustainability and Mobility segments, while the Technology segment remained relatively weak.
The company also expanded its EBIT margin by 50 basis points sequentially to 15.7%, reflecting better operational efficiency. Management reiterated its objective of achieving an EBIT margin of 16.5% on or before the fourth quarter of FY27.
Although operational performance remained healthy, the total contract value (TCV) of large deal wins declined to approximately US$100 million compared with around US$200 million reported during the previous six quarters. This indicates that near-term demand visibility remains mixed.
Why Are Brokerages Taking Different Views?
Kotak Securities maintained a cautious stance by retaining its Reduce recommendation and lowering its target price to ₹3,350 from ₹3,450. The brokerage acknowledged the company's decent operational performance but highlighted continuing demand uncertainties and expects higher foreign exchange losses because of long-term hedging positions.
JPMorgan, on the other hand, maintained a Neutral rating with a target price of ₹3,300. The brokerage noted that quarterly earnings exceeded expectations and appreciated management's optimistic FY27 outlook. LTTS expects sequential revenue growth in every remaining quarter of FY27, supported by expected deal closures in the Technology and MedTech businesses and execution of previously secured contracts.
Management believes future growth will primarily be driven by the Sustainability business, followed by Mobility and then Technology.

Investor Takeaway
Indian-Share-Tips.com Nifty Expert Gulshan Khera, CFP®, who is also a SEBI Regd Investment Adviser, observes that LTTS continues to demonstrate operational resilience through improving margins and steady execution despite a challenging demand environment. The company's optimistic FY27 guidance and expected margin expansion are encouraging, but slower large deal wins and uncertain technology spending remain important risks. Investors should monitor deal conversion, margin progression and sector demand trends before assessing the company's long-term growth trajectory.
