WINDFALL TAX TO BE DISCONTINUED WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT
The Centre has decided to scrap the windfall tax, a levy imposed on local production of crude oil and exports of petrol, diesel and jet fuel, at a time of subdued oil prices.
