FII ownership in NSE-listed companies
dropped to 15.98% in October 2024, marking the lowest level in twelve years.
Foreign investors' assets in equity fell by
8.8% to Rs 71.08 lakh crore in October,
the sharpest decline since March 2020.
• Domestic mutual funds held a record
9.58% share in the market in October,
with a total value of Rs 42.36 lakh crore.
Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs),
retail investors, and HNIs have increased
their market share to a record 26.04% as
of September 30, 2024
• The gap between FII and DII holdings
has narrowed significantly, potentially
