Health Insurance Premium doesn't work like Life Insurance Premium.
In Life Insurance, your Premium remains fixed throughout one's Life.
But in Health Insurance, it gets recalculated every year based on your age, claim history and general increase of Insurance premiums, much like your car insurance premium.
So, taking it early in life when one doesn't need it is really a wastage of money. The only advantage one could think of is that the pre existing disease (PED) period would end early but then at very early age, generally there are no PEDs.
