How to apply trading strategy?

A trading strategy is not a unique edge. There are only so many different variation on a few basic strategies.

The edge comes from a trader's ability to apply their strategy effectively. That requires a high level of ability and skill, allied to an effective application of the strategy, that aligns with who that person is.

The ability to develop the skills needed and to be able to apply a strategy effectively is what truly makes a trader unique and successful.
