Rs 25,000 income per month would put you in top 10% of the country. However the average income of top 10% is more than Rs.1 lakh per month.
You enter top 1% if you earn around Rs 1.75 lakhs per month. However the average income of top 1% is around Rs.4.5 lakhs per month.
As far as wealth is concerned, Rs.22 lakhs would put you among top 10% of the population. However the average wealth of top 10% is Rs.88 lakhs.
To enter the coveted 1% club, you need a wealth of around Rs.82 lakhs. On an average, top 1% holds around Rs 5.4 crores.

If you want to be among top 1 lakh people in the country, 0.01% of the population or 1% of top 1%, you need a wealth of Rs.37 crores
