When is an Auspicious Day as per Moon Cycle?

There's an unwritten rule, at least in the northern part of Karnataka. Followed strictly in the rural areas and those who give relevance to the lunar effect on our lives.

Though the Fullmoon and newmoon have their own importance in our lives, it's the day after these.

No important task is done on the day immediately after a Fullmoon. It's considered inauspicious.(ಹುಣ್ಣಿಮೆ ಕರಿ).

On the other hand, the day immediately after the newmoon day is mostly considered auspicious. One can undertake any important task.

How this works?

It's about the logic of the *waning and waxing moon*.

The Fullmoon is the pinnacle of growth. The next day is the beginning of its decline. You see... there's a sudden shift. From growth to pinnacle to decline. Something related to negativity.

On the other hand the day immediately after the newmoon it's the appearance of a crescent moon rising from complete darkness. It's the beginning of growth. Something like the germination of a seed. Something positive.

So keeping these factors at the back of our mind would be helpful.

Our systems, in almost all dimensions like mental, physical and emotional is intricately connected to the lunar cycle.

Especially our emotions are deeply affected by the phases of moon.

At any point of time, if you feel irritated, angry, short tempered and emotional down, just check the lunar calendar. Mostly the would be a Fullmoon or a newmoon.

Being aware of the external influences on our mind and lives could many times save us from disasters.
