You definitely require a transit visa if you are flying over USA airspace. Balance all the best is to check from either airline customer care or ask particular embassy as these rules keep changing as per the threat perception by the airports.
While transiting via USA airports have sufficient time at hand as at times or rather majority of times you have to get the pre booked luggage from the luggage belt and rebook it at USA Airport and go through the security check.
A client has reported on 17 June 24 that a Valid US visa is exempt from regular transit through UK - as long as you don’t exit airport
A client has reported as on 18 June 24 who travelled to Canada with a layover at Heathrow. No transit visa was required as their was no change in terminal.
