Message received from a Friend
A relative of mine just rec'd a fraud call saying that I'm stuck in a case somewhere and asking for immediate money transfer. The fraudsters made my relative even speak to me(my voice generated thru AI). Claimed that I've been arrested and serious charges are going to be slapped against me and what not. Requested my relative not to tell this to anyone including my parents etc. Few days back, a colleague here rec'd a similar call saying his son has been caught in possession of drugs and all that. Such cases are on the rise. Pls caution your friends, family and relatives.

Someone called my wife telling that I have met with road accident
Fortunately I was at home itself.
One way is have an identity code which only your immediate family only knows... let them memorize it and remember to ask in case of such situations..
It is advised to never open any payment apps also during calls..
Also never talk lengthy on unknown calls because they hack the phone during long calls.

A call came to me now
Portraying they are from FedEx and some consignment of mine shipped to Taiwan which had some illegal stuff has been detained at customs Mumbai.
When I said I haven't shipped any parcel they said then someone has used my Aadhar and it's now my responsibility.
They even guided me to lodge a complaint in Mumbai Cyber Office.
What made me suspicious was that they said they have a tie up with Cyber Br and they will connect with there office....
They gave me some consignment details, please detention details which later I checked up from FedEx which obviously was incorrect...
So all to be more cautious...
