There is no right or wrong time for investing in stock markets. It is the way the investments are done which matters. Please note the following points:-
1. Nobody knows how high or low the markets will go in the short term but it is certain that in the long term, typically 5 years or so, markets will always be much higher than today. Anybody who says that he/she knows how markets will move next month/ in a few months / in a year or so is either lying or has no idea how markets move.

2. India is on the cusp of a massive wealth creation. If you stay out, you stay out of all these opportunities to come and will miss out. This is not to say that markets will not go down in the short term.
