. Absolute opaque products.
. Still have charges about 300% more than the costliest MF
. Stuck to only one fund house
. Lock in of 5 years
. Very low flexibility to invest or withdraw.
. Are primarily insurance products where investment is also present.

When there are huge number of MFs, ETFs etc available, why should one think of ULIPs at all.
Also, 'this time it's different' or 'this one is different' are very dangerous words to fall for.
