Over the last few years the mobile tech/ social media is playing havoc with our psychology and the way we react and act. It has made the world sit on the edge. Even the most matured are not being spared.

Rate tightening works quickly and efficiently in developing countries where major portion of inflation is due to food and consumer goods prices and not in developed world where housing, rental and services form major portion of inflation.
The supply chain has improved which has somewhat eased the situation but getting it to 2% is way too far.
In the meantime, be prepared for large volatility and learn to take advantage.
