What could be Reason for Market Fall?

Can we call it black Friday? It appears that market have not fallen because of fresh corona cases but something more may be brewing. Market goes up by stairs and falls by lift. So, one analogy can be that profit booking has been done by FIIs as they close their financial year in Dec and goes on leave for Christmas holidays and another fact can be that Indian market have outperformed other global markets. Below is an assumption on the basis of something insiders know that retail traders are not knowing.

In the budget, the government may increase LTCG on equities from 10% to 20% or tenure from 1 year to 3 years. 

They may be thinking on bringing it on par with other assets where currently LTCG is at 20% and tenure is 3 years.

Looking at the sudden fall in markets last week it seems big players know some bad news that we don't know currently...
