Like everyone,money is limited for us too. Often there's too many stock ideas and hardly any money. What we do is,I try to avoid opportunity costs. Many times you will find a particular stock is moving up in anticipation of some "Life changing events" and then that event wouldn't happen like for years. With that,the stock languishes for ages too.
Thus like this we would never enter when it's an upcoming event. But would enter when that event materialises. Even say if there's already a move of 30-50%. This always helps us. So it's like for hundreds of companies,we have saved them in drafts with the triggers beside them. They all are in my daily watchlist. Once the event happens,we get in for the investment.
