Australia rate hike will be watched event today.
Nothing much to write about. The point of concern for me is....it's becoming too easy to make money in the markets now. It's the same case with options and futures also. Even weak breakout are moving fast giving brilliant returns to investors. If we see Nifty around 17730 to 17750, we will book profits in trading positions and wait on the sidelines.
The range of 17550 to 17750 is a no trade zone. Break out on either side can give a swift 200 points minimum. We are looking to trade them rather than creating positions in a range and then waiting with higher risk.
For Bank Nifty, the strength and the outperformance is clearly evident. It can easily touch 40350/40500 levels which makes it a buy on dips. Support comes at 39500.
Derivative data was positive for the day but options data indicates a range day. Pls remember, there are huge shorts still in the system so a reversal at higher levels cannot be ruled out.
