Just flew back Dallas - New Jersey - Delhi and reached home safely. Let me
also share the fantastic steps being taken at the airport by Indian govt. Each
passenger is screened by health officials just outside the gate of
airplane. From their one is whisked to immigration which in Delhi doesn't
take more than 5 to 10 mins. And from there all travelers are quickly
whisked away to their respective baggage belts. Mind you each baggage belt
is almost cordoned off and one can only go to their respective baggage
belt. This is done to prevent intermixing of passengers of different
flights.Now before you reach the belt, ur luggage is pulled out of belt by airport staff and kept on the floor. One can easily identify it from a distance and pick up and simply leave. They have cordoned off each and every zone in such a manner that each passenger lands and quickly leave the airport after their medical check-up. This is in total contrast to airports of Dallas, New Jersey and Frankfurt which I visited in the last 1 week. Hats off to Indian govt. Sometimes we fail to complement our own country govt even though they are ahead in so many things than their counterparts which are supposedly developed countries!
This post is just to give an answer to all those who are questioning the ability of India to handle the Corona Virus epidemic seeing the size of our country.
