Have a look we had Nirmala Sitharaman as a Defence Ministry without having any experience of Defence and now we have her being made a Finance Minister without any Finance Knowledge.
Through this post, we are not casting any aspersion on her ability or dedication but it is a humble request that a Defence Minister is made who has at least some defence background and has undergone some training as only then he will be able to understand the problems and the challenges being faced by Indian Army.
Similarly, now Nirmala Sitharaman made a statement that she does not eat Onions and thus she is not worried about the price hike in onions but she must remember that a common man is not interested in her dietary habits but is more interested to see that basic essentials are available at cost-effective prices. The whole social media is making a meme on her such statement.
Whether Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s kitchen contains onions (Egyptian or our own Bellary variety) or not, is something we would never really know. But we can safely say that the Minister didn’t ‘know her onions’ of Parliamentary debate while responding to questions on the rising prices of onions! And, in the process, found herself right in the midst of a huge social media storm, much to her discomfiture.
It is once again requested that Finance Minister be a person with a finance background like CA or CFP etc who can plug the loopholes as any other person being made a Finance Minister will run as per his babu's diktat and will be only a signing puppet on the files.
