However; Modi govt will have to do some real magician act to get the bill passed by Rajya Sabha as it requires 2/3rd majority and later on needs to be endorsed by the state assemblies. In heart of our heart we want GST bill to get through as it pains to see so many truckers lined on every state border which is a sheer wastage of time and effort in form of human effort and increasing freight carriage time. If the bill is passed GDP will get a fillip to the extent of 100-200 Basis point jump.

(a) Logistics : Gati, Allcargo Logistics, Balmer Lawrie, VRL Logistics
(b) Cement : ACC. Ultratech, Shree cement - GST implementation will reduce tax from 27% to 18%

Most of these above sectors are being taxed more than 24% and in the new regime of GST bill if passed these taxes will be lowered.
Check the sectors which are likely to be affected negatively by passage of GST bill and thus these companies needs to be avoided at all cost.
