How to Turn Indian Sleeping Giants into Profit Making Entities?

It is really disheartening to note that due to mismanagement; we are making losses in those PSUs where we can make voluminous profits. Our heart bleeds to see such gory figures from these two PSUs namely Deptt of Posts and Prasar Bharti which can become cash cows if their control is handed to professional management. Have a look at losses below:

• Department of Posts posted a loss of Rs. 5425 Crores - This entity can be converted into a huge profit making entity.
• Prasar Bharti posted a loss of Rs. 2000 Crores - With so many professionals in place we foresee its losses getting mounted.

We sincerely hope that Indian govt wakes up to the reality and get these two PSUs going and one should not forget the BSNL & SBI which have slowly started awakening from its slumber. We are glad that deptt of post is making foray into number of related fields like DOP mobile money transfer and this is a step in right direction.
