Aadhaar Card - Not Received - What Should I do?

Aadhaar Card  is a mandatory requirement and one must make it a point to get himself registered to get this card as one is going to get gas subsidy through banks for which Aadhaar Card is a mandatory requirement. Have a look at below screenshot to know more about this card.

If you have still not enrolled then visit the website uidai.gov.in and click RESIDENTS>WHERE TO ENROL to find the enrolment centre near you.

Now you have gone and enrolled for Aadhaar Card and now you have to wait for 3 months to get it by post. However still an option exists to download the Aadhaar Card from the website once it has been generated. So no fear of postal loss as backup is available.

Q. How to Generate Aadhaar Card  Online?
Ans. If you have enrolled after Mar 2012; the following procedure be followed.

• Visit resident.uidai.net.in and use "Check Aadhaar Status" and enter enrollment id.
• Wait till it shows that Aadhaar Card  has been generated.
• if Aadhaar Card  has been generated then you can you can downlad Aadhaar Card by clicking "Get e-Aadhaar" after inputting the Enrolment sliop number with date and time,name, pincode and mobile number. You will get a one time password on your mobile which you can use for generating e-Aadhaar Card  and this print out can be used for sending it to banks and LPG distributor.

If you have enrolled before Mar 2012; the following procedure be followed.

• Visit resident.uidai.net.in and use "Check Aadhaar Status" and enter enrollment id.
• If Aadhaar has not been generated visit nearest centre.
