As of now we are all aware that infrastructure sector is a rate sensitive sector and thus it is more or less dependent on the policies of RBI to lower the rates of interest to bring the home loan rate of interest in the reach of a common man.
However not withstanding above problem; Rakesh Jhunjhunwala is optimistic about the infrastructure sector because while it was a sector with great potential owing to the need for investment in areas like power and roads, it was also totally beaten down. He expressed confidence that from these levels, in a period of two-three years, the infrastructure sector stocks would give very good returns. Thus make sure that if you emulate his style of investment; than remember to give time to the investments and let it fructify and yield results.
