Probably Indusind bank was the only bank which was using alpha numeric codes in their account numbers and now Indusind bank has intimated that they are also going to be in line with the complete banking industry.
Indusind Bank have enhanced their banking systems to provide the clients with "Best-in-Class" Banking Services. As part of their system change, effective 10th December '12, the customers who have a 13 digit alpha numeric or numeric account no, the same has been changed to a 12 digit number.
