This time govt is quick to announce festival gift to non-gazetted central government employees with a bonus of up to Rs 3,500 for them for 2011-12.
It is worth noting here that all Central government employees in Group C and D and all non-gazetted employees in Group B who are not covered by any productivity-linked bonus scheme will get bonus equivalent to 30 days emoluments and it also includes central police and para-military personnel and armed forces personnel.
Eligibility Conditions for eligibility for bonus
- Had been in service till March 31, 2012
- Rendered at least six months of continuous service during 2011-12
Verdict
It is good that govt has announced this festival bonus well in time so that people can paln their purchases and same should be also done where they should announce DA well in time and should be in the included in the pay automatically in Jan an July pay as this DA is revised every 6 months.
