Comments is an important aspect for a website or a blog to get engaged with their community. However one wonders that why JSkit is removing its commenting system and shutting down its shop wef 01 Oct 12. We have been using their commenting system and found it very effective. However we only wish that they put the same on sale and we could buy their commenting system as it is well established.
You can import your comments in following methodology in XML format and do remember to have a look at screenshot given below:
- Go to the Settings page
- Click the "Sites I Manage" link located in the left menu bar
- Click the "export comments" for your site (You can import it every 30 minutes)
- After getting the export file you will need to modify it according to the destination system import requirements How to import comments from JSkit commenting system(system that you are going to import the comments to).
We wished that they do not shut the shop as it means that commenting systems like Disqus and IntenseDebate will have no competition left and bloggers will have to choose the best among the worst lot.
