EBS has approx 5000 merchants and now they will be able to sell goods to 113 million active PayPal accounts in 190 markets across the world.

India Country Manager for PayPal Southeast Asia namely Mr Mayur Patel has stated that as per available statistics; PayPal integration helps increased in sales to the tune of 18% and also leads to increase in conversion rate over credit cards to an extent of 23%.

Paypal wings have been cut by RBI on the grounds of security and now PayPal is looking for a domestic payment license in India and may even set up an Indian office at Bangalore by forthcoming year or alternatively they can have a global development centre for ebay and Paypal at same place as both companies are owned by same owner.
