It is a confirmed news that Wikileaks Chief Julian Assange has not been officially granted asylum by Ecador as Ecuador’s President Rafael Correa has tweeted that the rumors about Assange being granted asylum are false. Presently no decision has been taken as they are awaiting for a report from his Foreign Minister:
As per information provided by Wikileaks; Julian Paul Assange is an Australian editor, activist, political talk show host, computer programmer, publisher and journalist. He is best known as the editor-in-chief and founder of WikiLeaks.
If the U.S. had their way, Assange would be extradited to Sweden for questioning over an alleged “rape as he is safe in embassy of Ecuador but same can not be said moment he steps out of the embassy and thus ways and means of his moving out of the country may be difficult.
