They further stated that adding new Payment options is an on-going affair at EBS and it has been informed that EBS has tied up with Amex to enable acceptance of Amex& JCB cards for EBS Merchants. This opens up an Additional Elite customers base, Wider Global Acceptance, More Payment options & Processing High value transactions (txns).

How to Get Amex Cards Activated for Existing EBS Merchants?
EBS has devised a Sterling Package for existing EBS Merchants to process Amex, JCB & Diners card, without additional setup fees.
Package Terms and TDR differ only for Payment options extended through the package & can be availed on acceptance of terms online.
Procedure for Activating Amex Options
- Merchants can simply login to secure.ebs(dot)in & click on link to accept TDR, terms and conditions applicable for the package to sign up for the new payment options.
- Link for Sterling package is accessible from EBS Merchant Backend. Please click on Account -> Settings: Sterling Package Terms and Conditions
Discretion for Amex/JCB/Diners activation for Merchant is subject to approval from the respective acquirers. - Activation for above payment options will take 2-3 weeks from Sign up of Package Terms, receipt of Annexure &/or Approval from Acquirer.
- Please note above package cannot be extended to merchants for whom Credit Cards activation is not approved/enabled.
