Tatkal ticket timings for booking have been changed and same needs to be taken note of as these changes are effective wef 10.07.2012.
Please note that timing of opening of reservation of Tatkal tickets has been changed to 1000 hours on the previous day of journey instead of 0800 hours as per earlier provision.
Benefit of change in Timing
- It has led to even distribution of load on PRS and internet.
- It has led to better availability of Tatkal as well as general tickets on the opening days of reservation on internet.
