It is a wise decision by Home ministry that it has banned bulk SMSes and MMSes for 15 days in order to contain rumour mongering which has been spread related to North East students. The rumours were widely prevalent in Bangalore, Chennai, Pune and Hyderabad.
This step will definitely contain exodus of north eastern people from certain states where rumours are being spread by anti social elements. From today onwards, no one will be able to send more than 5 SMSes in one go and more than 20 KB of data through mobile phones during the ban period.
We do hope that good sense prevails and we ride above caste, creed, religion and regionalism. We have to make India a force to reckon with and for that we have to ride above all such petty things in life as we are Indians first always and every time.
