This is going to be a good news as Facebook is likely to consider relaxing the age criterion and it may relax the ban on children under the age of 13 from joining its site.
Simon Milner, Facebook’s head of policy in Britain, who was quoted by Sunday Times as,
“There is reputable evidence that there are kids under 13 who are lying about their age to get on to Facebook.”
However we will request Milner to first off all strengthen their overall system to have greater security features to avoid people being harrassed and bullied on Facebook. This decision they may take of allowing children as per country norms prevalent and a debate is a must before they go for it.
