Prudential Asset Management or EastSpring has more exposure in China as compared to India. A detailed analysis shows that their $1 billion Dragon Peacock Fund has about 50 percent of its assets invested in China equities and it has 47 percent invested in India. Its top holding is Bank of China Ltd, while its largest Indian holding is Infosys. This fund has made more money by virtue of outperformance in China Resources Cement Ltd, on expectations of policy easing and increased construction activity.
As per data available way back Dec 2011; Eastspring has approx $2.8 billion in assets under management in Indonesia and thus it becomes biggest investors in Indonesia. They are bullish on financials in Indonesia and that is the reason that their equity funds worth $969 million or 32 percent of the portfolio account for financials and its largest holding is Astra International Tbk PT.
