All govt employees must be on the tenterhooks that the salary of March month has not been credited in banks on 01 Apr or it invariably happens on 31 Mar.
However point here to note is that payment of March Salary is always made in April due to financial closing and thus govt officers will receive salary in the banks on 03 April 2012 as 02 Apr 2012 is annual closing of banks.
We have taken a case for a particular year and it will more often remain the same and it may change by a day or so due to Sunday appearing on 01/02 Apr.
