The employees’ provident fund(EPF) rate of interest has been slashed by 1.25 per cent for 2011-12 in current budget and it becomes 8.25% from an all time high of 9.5%.
We wonder that these unions raise their voice at slightest provocation and this time they have kept quite despite high prevailing rate of interest and it is also likely that PPF rate of interest may be also increased.
