It is important that one has an access to internet in remotest of the remote area. The problem has been solved by BrizzTv which is a start up company from Bangalore and has been incubated by IIM Bangalore and has been funded by Ojas Ventures. The benefit of this is that one need not buy any new hardware as your present TV is sufficient as it is broadcasting Internet content directly on TV as a channel and this process is called as datacasting. One does not require an internet connection for this feature as one just requires direct to home (DTH) TV & its remote to access features. It has implemented a few services like iExam on Airtel DTH.
