4G is going to be a reality as Telecom Minister Mr. Kapil Sibal has made a public statement at Mobile World Congress function. His statement is as appended below:
“By the end of the year, we are actually going to auction 4G (spectrum). That is what our intent is. We have enough spectrum now to share with everybody,”
Indian Govt is expected to rake in Rs 78000 Crores as the amount which will be raised through this auction. Definitely this amount can fill fiscal deficit to a great extent.
We are likely to see lot of consolidation and mergers in months ahead as this sector is the most promising sector in India.
