Realtech Device has revolutionised the switching on and off of the irrigation system as it has come with a technology where 2 missed calls and irrigation system is switched on in the field. The device is reasonably priced between Rs 4500-Rs 6500 as per the model.
Requirements & Functioning Procedure
- Realtech Device installs equipment with a SIM card at pumping station
- SIM card gets programmed and it responds to missed calls from specific number i.e. of farmer.
- Now farmer makes a missed call to SIM fitted in Realtech device and this device responds by sending SMS to farmer’s mobile and confirms availability of power supply.
- Again a missed call is given on receipt of power supply confirmation and now motor is turned ON with this second miss call and farmer is informed about the action via SMS including time of start.
- Third missed call switches the motor OFF and sends SMS to farmer’s mobile phone confirming the task.
Future of Product
The company has sold more than 1,000 units and have raked in a turnover of 50 lacs in past one year. Realtech Device have a network of 30 dealers in South India and recently appointed distributors in Indore and Pune to cater for the markets in Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra respectively.
