RS Software India was founded in 1991 and operates from the Salt Lake Electronics Complex in Kolkata. It operates as an information technology solutions and service provider in India. RS Software develops software and presently focuses on payment processing software from point-of-sale to credit and debit card transaction processing. It exports its software to the United States, Europe, and Asia. R S Software has obtained CMM Level 4 and ISO 9001:2000 certifications. Very recently, RS signed a contract with a leading software product company based out of California. The scope of the project includes product development work focusing on the issuing side of the business and is expected to start at offshore. It has also signed an OEM agreement with Microstrategy which will allow us to develop applications using their BI application.
