Revathi Equipment (REVTEQP), established in 1977, is engaged in catering to the product needs of the infrastructure sector. Earlier known as Revathi-CP Equipment, it got its present name on Jan. 20, 2003. The company is part of the Revathi group, which also has Revathi Equipment, Rajratan Global Wires, Shogun Organics, Monarch Catalyst, and Potential Service Consultants as group companies. The ISO 9001:2000 certified company manufactures drilling equipments and accessories, batching plants, transit mixers, and concrete pumps for mining, construction and water well and exploration drilling applications. It manufactures blast hole rigs used in drilling open-cast mines and water-well drilling rigs for drilling bore wells and exploration of groundwater resources.
In FY07, a number of new drills, both for domestic and export markets have been developed. Associate companies include Monarch Catalyst, Mumbai, engaged in specialty chemicals and Potential Service Consultants, Bangalore, an engineering design services company providing total engineering solutions to the building and construction sector. The company`s client list includes Coal India and its subsidiaries, Tata Iron and Steel Company, Central Ground Water Board, ground water department of various state governments, public health engineering department of various state governments, Gujarat Ambuja Cement, Zuari Cement, and National Aluminium Company among many others. Major export destinations include USA, Australia, Jordan, Tunisia, Nigeria and South Africa to clients like Bucyrus International Inc. and Sullivan Palatek Inc. in USA, Globe Compressors in Australia and Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources and Rural Development in Nigeria.
