The automobile division of the company manufactures vehicles like Roadstar, a goods-carrying vehicle and Sigma, a compact diesel multi-purpose vehicle. The company converts the Bharat Stage II (Euro II) TUD5 engine into Bharath Stage III (Euro III) for the Roadstar SA model. It has introduced a new model Roadstar FE compliant with Bharath Stage III norms and has capability for assembly of vehicles from imported painted bodies and indigenous production of vehicle bodies. The engineering segment is engaged in engineering, manufacturing of machine tools of gear cutting, vertical and horizontal machining center and special purpose machines. Products includes machine tools, shaping and slotting machines, metal cutting including grinding machines, foundry and molding machines, gear machines, machining centers, turning machines and special purpose machines (SPM). It developed the VM-40 machine, which is small-sized vertical machining centre required in many small and medium scale engineering industries. Premier has manufacturing collaborations with foreign companies like Hitachi, Hermann Pfauter and Dorris Scharmann. These products are supplied to many automobile manufacturers domestically like Ashok Leyland and Bajaj Auto and exported to countries like Germany, UK, USA, Australia and USSR among others.
