Precision Pipes and Profiles Company is a manufacturer of high quality automotive sealing systems and exterior products. It was incorporated as a partnership firm on Apr. 03, 1978 and converted into a public limited company on Oct. 18, 1995. The company`s product range includes weather strips, trim door openings, windshield moldings, roof moldings, quarter window seals, A-pillar garnishes, B-pillar garnishes, skirt air dampers, body side moldings, fuel hoses and products like PVC-based customized profiles for white goods and other industries. The five manufacturing facilities located in New Delhi and Noida (Uttar Pradesh) have a total capacity of 4.75 million kg. The company is investing approximately Rs 1,060 million to increase capacity to 9.14 million kg by 2008-2009, set up a new plant for manufacturing auto components, and set up an electrical outlet system products unit. In technical collaboration with Tokai Kogyo Co. for automobile products, all the plants are TS 16949, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certified. The Okhla unit has been certified additionally with ISO 14001:2004. Recent awards include selection of the company in the top three listed under Emerging India Awards (CNBC) and renewal of SME-I rating from CRISIL. The company is an OEM supplier to the automobile industry including Maruti Udyog, Honda SIEL, General Motors and Toyota Kirloskar, among others. Customized profiles are supplied to Godrej, Voltas, Videocon and Carrier Refrigerators in the white goods sector. Customized extruded parts are exported to industries involved in modular buildings, refrigeration, electrical and other segments in countries such as the UK, Australia, France, Italy, New Zealand, and the Middle East to name a few.
