Minda Industries (MINDA) was established in 1992 and is the flagship company of the Minda Group. It designs, develops and manufactures switches for two/three wheelers and off-road vehicles. In addition, MINDA manufactures batteries for two/three/four wheelers and off-road vehicles. Its two wheeler products include handle bar system assembly, handle bar switches, electronic systems, lever and holder assembly, brake switch, grips, gear shift switch, modular switch and panel switch. Minda Industries off-road products include panel switch, rotary switches, starter switches, plunger switches, lever combination switch and ignition switch. On January 11, 2007 MINDA executed a joint venture agreement with Valeo Group of France, for the manufacture of alternators and starter motors for passenger cars, commercial vehicles and other two or three wheeler vehicles and/or industrial applications. The major export products of the company are automotive switches, head lamps, horns and automotive accessories. Minda Industries is based in Gurgaon, India.
