Promoted by Banwari Lal Mittal and a part of Microsec Group, Microsec Financial Services (MFSL) is a non-banking financial company registered with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Headquartered in Kolkata, the company is engaged in the business of retail broking and investment management services in India. MFSL also offers loans against shares (LAS) to its clients, secured by liquid and marketable securities at appropriate margin levels. As on March 31, 2010, MFSL had 72 clients in the LAS business and an outstanding loan amount of Rs 305.10 million.
